For our second night, we did something pretty special…. We took over the Museum of Liverpool at Pier Head for our gala dinner, and honestly, the venue was incredible. It's the striking, gorgeous, modern building right on the water which we walked past during our walking tour the day prior.

It was just a short walk from our accommodation, so we kicked things off with a drinks reception before sitting down for a proper three-course meal. We had great wine, amazing food, and a backdrop that was hard to beat.

The best part? Since we we're in a gallery space, we had have museum staff on hand to help us explore the exhibits. There was something undeniably cool about wandering through a museum with a glass of wine after hours - it was a gorgeous night and easily one of the highlights of the festival.
