Jonny King

After organising events at university whilst studying for a healthcare degree, Jonny then ventured into the events world full-time back in 2015 and soon realised that he had discovered the career for him. Since then, he has accumulated a wide range of experience: from planning large-scale conferences or exhibitions to high-end luxury incentives and in locations as far-flung as Singapore or much closer to home in his native Yorkshire. Jonny has a keen interest in sustainability and is all about finding ways to make his projects more eco-friendly. During the pandemic, Jonny put both his event and healthcare experience to great use by planning and project managing part of the covid vaccination programme. Since returning to the industry in 2022, Jonny has been a key member of the Project Team at First Event, where he has recently been promoted to the position of Senior Project Manager. Jonny was named on C&IT’s Incentive A-List for 2023.
